After a long time I took up acrylics painting again! Here is a whole story of how I got into painting and my inspirations for painting. I have been following The Painting Basics series by Jerry Yarnell to re-teach myself acrylics. I must say the book is really good, particularly for beginners or anyone who may have pained a lot a while ago and just want re-touch the skills!
This was my first painting from the Painting Basics series. I like how it turned out... love the rendition of waterfall and the green mountains on the left.. not particularly happy about the tree on the right.. I would render it differently if I were to redo this painting again. Either way though, I think I am falling in love with acrylics again :)
